To those who are in the bondage of sin: You have been convinced that you are making your own choices, but the truth is that you have been deceived and are under the contol of the evil one.
You may have been told, or believe, that you are “free” from following the will of God, the Creator of the universe, but this is patently untrue.
When you consciously make the choice to go against God’s will for your life, you give ground to the devil. He will gain more and more control over your life, and you will become more and more enslaved to evil; be it drugs, alcohol, rebellion, sex, dishonesty, etc.
You will get farther and farther away from God, until one day you won’t even be able to hear Him anymore.
Trust me, I’ve been there…and I don’t want to repeat the same mistake again. Thankfully, God will hear you if you call out to Him. He will save you from yourself if you truly repent of your sins.
