Don’t offer Him your pretty words;
Offer Him your life.

Hello. Thanks for the contact. I have read (many times) the chapters and verses that you point out here.

While I recognize your attempt to convert me out of Christianity and into atheism, I want to let you know that God is real, God is just, and God is good.

Speaking from a wealth of experience, a person’s life will always be empty until he or she knows Jesus personally. This includes you!

The Bible is God’s inspired word given as a guide to humanity. If you have specific objections to a chapter or verse in the Bible and you want to discuss, I would be happy to do so - provided that discussion is respectful.

God’s Not Dead - Saw this movie today. Worth the time and money for sure. Anyone else see it?

We are constantly surprised to find out how many things that we encounter in daily life encourage us to try out ‘strange gods.’

This is PART 2 of an ongoing series, The intertwining of Eastern Mysticism with Western Culture - Why Christians should be concerned about it.

When was the last time you told someone else about what Jesus has done for you?
If Jesus came for his people tonight, would you be included?

If you are unsure of your standing with God, you should first realize that we are all sinners and have fallen short of God’s laws.

To get right with God, you can turn from your sins, and commit your life to Jesus as your savior.

Monism, absolute truth and propitiation…

Believing that we each have our own personal truth is akin to what would be called “monism,” which is the idea that ‘god is everything’ and ‘everything is god.’ This is a view that there is no absolute truth, and a relative view of right and wrong.

As Christians, we believe that there IS absolute truth, and things that are right are right no matter what, and things that are wrong are wrong no matter what.

Also in our belief is the fact that for salvation, an individual absolutely needs to put his or her faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus is God’s chosen method to reconcile a fallen humanity back to himself.

This is shown by the Bible verse 1 John 2:2 - “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Propitiation means “the turning away of wrath by an offering.” Propitiation means “placating or satisfying the wrath of God by the atoning sacrifice of Christ.”

Jesus Christ was the sinless sacrifice that God required to be both Just and Merciful to a sinful humanity. So, that is the reason that Christians place faith in Jesus. He has lovingly given us a way to reconnect to God forever.

So if God already knows what is in the heart of man, then God would know if man will willingly seek God. He will know from the very start who will believe in him and who will not. Is he ever surprised?

Hello. An omnipotent God must know what is in every man’s heart, otherwise God is not omnipotent.

Man has the free will to make his own decisions regarding salvation. An omnipotent God is not surprised, and will know from the very start what decision each man will make.

Just because God knows who will accept or reject Jesus Christ does not affect each individual’s ability to accept or reject salvation.
